I’m originally from southern Arizona, moving to Hawaii in 1971. After working at the University of Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology for 10 years, I spent 29 years in economic development for the State of Hawaii. I happily retired in 2010.
One of the things on my retirement To Do list was to study watercolor painting. Now, I’m sorry I waited until 2015 to start taking lessons at the Honolulu Museum of Art School. Aside from appreciating the creative challenge, I’ve greatly enjoyed meeting a whole new group of interesting and talented people.
I’ve expanded to acrylics, acrylic pouring and photography. I’m a member of the Windward Artists Guild, the Association of Hawaii Artists, and the Hawaii Watercolor Society. I’ve been honored to have my work accepted into their shows.
